The parts of this assessment were threefold:
1) Introduce the areas of debate associated with one Case Study in the History Extension course and analyse the key features of one of these areas of debate (Textual problems of the Biblical narrative) in detail. [Outlined in the PowerPoint a the end of the Overview post]
2) Create a sequence of 3 learning activities related to the Case Study to address the NSW BOS outcome E1.1
analyses and evaluates different historical perspectives and approaches to history and the interpretations developed from these perspectives and approachesActivity 1: Origin & Naming of the Hebrews
Activity 2: Conquest or Settlement
Activity 3: Emergence of the monarchy & the kingdom of Israel
3) A short piece considering the rationale and philosophy behind the extension course, and explaining how my teaching will cater for it. [See Part C: Rationale]
